The Joy of A Transformed Life
Today I met with two women in their twentys who have recently given their lives to Jesus. Their new joy in Him spilled out as they told me what Jesus has rescued them from and with pen in hand asked questions of how to know Him more intimately, how to know His will and how to be strong women of God in their generation. I am just me, but I believe the Holy Spirit gave me His truth for their hearts. We talked of going on a divine treasure hunt of growing in the the knowledge of God. We talked of how to truly have a meeting with Jesus and read the Scripture as a personal love letter from Him. Mostly, we celebrated His extravagant love that delivers us, cherishes us, pursues our hearts and seeks to bring us light even when we are in the dark. It was a precious time for all of us. Thank You, Jesus, for the joy You bring.

Debbi,
ReplyDeleteWe miss you but I am delighted to hear the good news of the "fire spreading." What a joy to hear the hearts of those two young ladies. They who are forgiven much, love much. (Luke 7:47) What an incredible outpouring the Holy Spirit into their lives. Thanks for sharing this.
And "I am just me" is exactly right. I feel so inadequate in my new job, but when it gets down to the wire, and the Holy Spirit comes through, I am overwhelmed with gratitude and love. Way to go! Keep it up, and we pray for you often.
Great start!Looking forward to reading more. I miss out times together.
ReplyDeleteYou are my inspiration! What you shared with those ladies you shared with me many years ago and it changed my life and my relationship with my Jesus. God has given you a gift! I am so blessed to call you friend! I love you and miss you dearly. May God continue to use you and bless you!
